Repairs

Repairs are a fact of life.  Resoles, replacing broken straps and heel loops, gluing separated footbeds, these are just some of the things I do on a regular basis.  I give repair work top priority in my shop, with small repairs being done while you wait or, for mail-in work, in a day or two.  A complete refurbishment may take a week or two. Small repairs, work that requires simply a nail, rivet or glue, are always without charge.  Other repairs are generally by estimate.

Please Note:  I only work on Sandals I make.

Here are a few examples of repair prices:

1. Resole: Vibram™ Woodstock™ or Crepe $55-$65

Leather sole including heel and arch  $95

Heel only $20

2.  Replace single strap $30

Replace both straps $55

3. Replace heel loop $25

replace both heel loops $45

4.Complete refurbishment, including new

  soles, re-stitch footbed to mid-sole,

new straps and heel loops,

new buckles, clean and polish.  $125 to $165.

Please contact me before sending your sandals for repair.  Because our Winter schedule includes much time away from the shop, repair times in the colder months may be delayed.

When I receive your sandals I will examine them to determine the work that they need and contact you by email.  When we are in agreement as to the work that I will be doing, I will send you a Paypal invoice for the work and the shipping charges.  You may pay either on-line at the Paypal site or by mailing a check or money order.
