THE MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION

I use the finest materials in the world to build my sandals.  American tanned heavy steer hides, Vegetable tanned strap leathers, Bavarian branded leather soles, Vibram® Kletterlift™ lug soles and Vibram® Woodstock™ soles, buckles from Belgium,  brass nails and linen thread are just some of what goes into a pair of 

Paul Taylor Custom Sandals. 

I cut no corners in building my sandals.  Each piece is cut by hand, my hand, and carefully  fitted and assembled.  There are more than ninety steps in the creation of each pair of sandals. 

I give great care to the selection and application of every part of my sandals.  Each is chosen for superior durability, function, and good looks.
