THE FIT

At Paul Taylor Custom Sandals it all starts with YOUR feet.

I make a pattern of each foot.  The outline of the foot, the height and placement of the arch, the bone structure of the foot, and any information you provide about your special needs are included on the pattern.  The pattern is cut and the information transferred to the leather footbed.  The footbed is shaped to conform to the outline of your feet.  Each strap is positioned according to your bone structure.  The footbed is shaped to receive the arch support.
